Lovely views from hotel room which was pleasant & clean, staff friendly & helpful, breakfast was excellent
made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much carried bags to room breakfast was very good
The staff was very nice and the location was second to none if you want to be near the golf course. The rooms were clean and simple but not luxurious and the breakfast was simple but good.
The television service was very limited.
Location only thing was satisfactory
No radio in room. No hairdryer in room and when I asked for one I was told that there weren't any. When I said I thought that this was very surprosing, the staff rather unwillingly went off for 10 minutes and came bakc with a hairdryer.
The location was excellent that is probably why it is so expensive. But i was not there to golf!
The hotel was grossly over priced. The quality of the accommodation was not worth the price. I paid 60 GBP less than friends staying in the 5 star Fairmont hotel for a hotel that was probably only a 2 star in terms of facilities. A travel inn is 60 GBP per night and better quality and i paid 133 per night! not what I expected for the money.
Pleasant friendly staff and very central and convenient location. Food and service also very good.
Bedroom accomodation rather basic and not kept in good repair. Bedside lighting and television did both did not work, shower door handle was broken and there were no hairdriers available even from reception. Also a dedicated residents lounge/sitting area would have improved our stay as all seating areas were dominated by sports tv screens.
In a convenient location with good food and helpful staff.
Noise from entertainment to 1am was unacceptable.
The location was excellent for access to the St Andrews Golf courses some 100meters from the R&A. Meals were of good quality and suited our needs as we were their to play golf and not looking for reastraunt facilites or fine dining.
The location / proximity to the centre of St Andrews and the friendliness of the staff. Excellent breakfast.
A bit ye olde worldy without the ye olde worldy price.
